Oh wow, I haven’t laughed so much in a long time! The Virgin Romance Novelist by Meghan Quinn is a light romantic comedy filled with awkward situations that are just downright, wish you were dead, embarrassing.
Playing House by Amy Andrews was simply a delight to read from start to finish. It was way too easy to empathise with the nerdy Eleanor, and boy did I feel like telling her family where to go! Don’t get me started on Bodie’s family, well his father mainly, what a jerk!
A Scandal by Any Other Name by Kimberly Bell is a very sweet historical romance. It is so refreshing to see the female lead with the disability. We always see the ‘damaged hero’ who finds a woman who will look past his problems. Here we have a ‘damaged heroine’ who finds a man who will see her for who she is rather than her physical disability.
